don't understand... how does destroying your neighborhood bring justice to your
cause? How does gutting out a store, looting those stores.. ruining the very
person who brings you products you need for your daily life, employs your
neighbors.... how is this justice for anyone. I just don't get it.. Even when
the family ask you NOT to do it... these are not protesters, these are thugs.
I don't understand why there has to be riots..
Some will say, you don't live there, you haven't lived their lives. And that is so true.. but I still don't
understand why they want to burn down their neighborhood.Who is going to pay for all of this?
Surely not the people who did it.. and it would
not be out of line to say, some won't, the ones who did it because they aren't even
residents of that city. So they won't
be paying the taxes, that have to replace
it. And WHY did the people who lives in Seattle, and I am sure there are other
cities.. decide they too had the right to riot as well.. doing damage.
Of course I will be called a racist for
saying.. how many riots have we had with the murder of ANY white person.. Where was the
riot and injustice of the runner from Australia, who was murdered in our
country? Where was the people
who were horrified by that. Time and time again there are people killed by blacks and no one riots.Whites don't seem to like to burn their
neighborhood to show their disgust.
To me, all those people who rioted, burnt, beat
people up.... have disgraced one of their leaders. Those who march on
January 16th each year, and were there causing damage.. Martin Luther King
has to be rowing in his grave. That was not how he did it...He made changes by protesting
quietly. But speaking up, but not burning up..
I just don't understand.. guess I will never
1. I am thankful that I don't live in Buffalo
in 6 feet of snow and now the threat of flooding as that snow melts. My
heart goes out to them.
2. I am thankful that I don't live in cities
like Ferguson, Mo.. where people have no respect for others.. both
sides...Where their only way to protest is by doing damage.. We have
protest here, where people stand on the side of the road, with
signs.. we might not like the signs.. but we respect their side. So there
fore I am grateful for living where I do.. with the great people
of my county.
Mental awareness.... to use a term for gathering
varies in such a wide scope. There is the little, fairly
easy to deal with insecurities. Just knowing what it is.. knowing how to get around it.This is the minority of mental problems. but then again, maybe because it is easier to
deal with, no one talks about it, so very few know about it. But
could be more wide spread then one would think.
talked about my own, which is so small....small enough to be able to deal with it. At least 90% of the
time. I usually know what it is, talk myself out what it is.. and how
to deal with it.
It is an anxiety type. It is where I think it is a great idea to go
do something ..be it in town or out of town.. but
when the actual day comes.. I have this extreme dread. Most of
the time I can talk myself into going..But the further it is away from Idaho the worse the dread is.. and I just can't do it..
It cost me a trip to see my brother before he passed away in
July. Even though we had talked about how we would not make
the trip across country for each other's funeral or too
see each other on a death bed.. it still ate at me.
But not enough to get over the dread every time I thought about
going to see him before he got so bad.
I don't know what I dread. It isn't because I
think I will have
an accident. It isn't because I fear a vehicle
I don't know.. I can't explain it.. it reminds me
of when we
had a horse years ago, that would dive for the
we were exercising him.. a barn rat of sorts. But
I have two sister in laws who are close to the same and one brother in law.. Also my mother was like
that as well.
Mine is such a small thing from those who have
Those who have great depression.. There is the
require help. Therapies. Some times they work,
Some work for a while, some people end up going to therapist for their whole life. And some sadly
A lot of people don't understand... they figured
you just deal
with it and get over yourself... but it isn't
that easy. And
there is really no way someone who suffers so
describe how they feel.. or what starts it.. and
it takes a
strong support group.. be it professional or
even then they some times lose the battle.
I don't have the answers.. I don't think any one
This day should never ever be forgotten.. it
should always be
observed. It bothers me that my own state has
decided to have the children go to school on this day.. It has
always been in my time (there goes that old person saying) a day
off from school.. it is a FEDERAL HOLIDAY.Our neighboring states are not having school. I truly hope that the schools will
teach what this day means in our history.
To me, this is even more important than Memorial
Day. As I was taught that Memorial day is to honorALL that have passed away. Military or not.
But VETERAN'S DAY is for all those who have
served and still are serving.. for the those who
gave their lives or are still living.. in and out of the service.
To those who have served.. past and present...to
are serving... THANK YOU... seems like small

These are just a few of the men, and women who
my world... that I know personally...
There are so many out there.. Men and women that
we should stand proud for them, as they have stood proudly
You know, I voted for over 50 years... some more often than not. And mostly the locals is what is my interest.. because.. I use to know the people.. not as friends, but know them.. Or had friends who knew them well... And of course past history if they had won before...
But the more time goes by.. the less I know the candidates.. and the records aren't always known. And nationally, well, all you know is the face you see on the television.. It is kind of like social media, where you know what you read, but you don't really have a clue of what the real person is like. And unless you go to
C-Span, you don't have a clue what bills they are putting up or voting for, unless it is some sensational one that the media
picks up on.
And of course over the years we have learn, at least most of us have, they will say ANYTHING to get elected.. Just like Romney a few years back, when he was asked by a reporter as he was getting into a car.
The question pertained to a subject of great interest and on the minds of the nation... but Mr. Romney answer was more truth than anything he could have said... His answer? I can't be bothered about that, I have a race to win.. and got into the car.
With all that said.. I have to ask myself, why did I think things would be any different this time? The locals went fine, and my local gal won by 2 to 1 vote.. and the only reason why it was of concern was, because the tea party tried to unseat her in the primaries... and fail, so they threw their weight behind a candidate of the Constitutions Party.
But when it came to the folks in Boise... well... I just had to shake my head.
See Idaho never met a Republican that they didn't like... But even so...the Governor has so many black marks on his record... the polls for years talks about how we are the 47th in the nation.. for education... 47, folks out of 50... there is talk of the FBI coming in to investigate how he handled the private run prison. His cutting of funds for the handicap and etc.. is well known.. And his constant grandstanding on same sex marriages and
Obama care.. to the point where the courts said it is illegal, and let the same sex marriages go thru.. he throws down the block with in hours to stop it.. and when that too, is thrown out.. he is ready to do it again.. Beating a dead horse with our tax paying money.. after all we have to pay for these actions.
So there was a movement going thru the state.
A.O.B.O. Any One But Otter. Yet, he won with a wide margin.
Another young lady who ran on the Education Dept. Who was making wild stories about herself.. which were not based on truth.. one of which she said she was voted Employee of the year 4 or 5 times.. truth was she never won and was only nominated once.. She too, won by a wide margin.
I won't even go into our representatives in Washington DC...
I just don't get it...maybe it is like when you were like a kid... you could bad mouth your kid brother, but don't let anyone else do it.. They rather have an undesirable candidate who is Republican, than to have a good candidate who will work for the people..
So we will see what the next two years bring, nation wide as well as state wide. But at least we have one candidate going back to Boise, who has worked for the people for 12+ years.
Well, next week, I am going back to finding humor in my life.. with the way things are going.. I am going to need it.
Well, how did your candidates do? Mine, the one I wanted the most...is ahead by 1000 with more still coming in... So that is good. But the long and short of it is... for me.... I got up this am and took off my pj's and put my pants on ... one leg at a time.. just like yesterday. The nation has gone Republican, and hopefully the Congress persons handle it better than the Democrats did when they won the House and Senate during Bush's ending years. The Democrats became blow hearts, like they had the world by the tail. Which only came to bite them in the rear later. And still. This ought to be an interesting 2 years. And will the Presidential candidates ask... are you better off in 2016 than you were in 2014? Some how I don't think we will be. But who knows. Neither party is honorable.. they have forgotten about the men and women and children of this nation. But today, I will be throwing the clothes in the washer. Washing the dog.. straightening up the living room, and changing the sheets on the bed.. just like before.. nothing changes. With the Tea Party candidates winning big time in Idaho, it will be interesting to see how they handle things. Some times when you think the grass is greener on the other side, you find out it still comes from the dirt below. So hope your candidates won, and you have something to celebrate..
then get to the polling booth and be heard.. NO EXCUSES... you have 12 hours.. you can find 5 minutes. remember... no voting... NO BITCHING... Others have to fight to be able to vote. Other countries, it can be dangerous to go to the village to vote... and here you are...an AMERICAN.. it is free for you.. no one will harm you or try to stop you.. might try to change your mind.. but not stop you... GO VOTE... see you tomorrow to see how you did, and did your guy win, did your proposal get passed?
