We are running as fast as we can….

All last month, the King has been busy helping his long time friend, do his haying.   He helped last year too.. mostly repairing equipment when it goes down..    as farming it goes that way…   Even though last year he said he wasn’t going to help this year…  he ended up helping..  These two guys in their 70’s are old time farmers … with working on the side, welding for the RR in their day….  So this runs deep.. this friendship..  and it is hard to let down an old friend.  So they made it thru July… getting all the fields cut and bales. And the King keeping the equipment running and helping once in a while where he could.  And at the end helping get the hay up and into the barn.

Now he is on the road again..  Helping his friend of many years who passed away last month… helping his son, get thing done that needs to be done.  Right now that, is getting a bull dozer running so it can be sold.  There is a lot of clean up to be done on the property before it can be sold.   So that will probably keep the King busy until hunting season.. Every thing stops during hunting season.. don’t you know..

I have been keeping the home front running while he is out helping. Also I have  GGBOYS…days..  that is where my two great grand (GG) sons come and spend the day with me.. while Mom works..  Even at the age of 83, I am still hanging in there..  and some times the laughter is loud. 

Also got a call yesterday,  from someone else.. can you come do…………….

After that was done, we got a phone call,  from a old friend.. “I was just in a car accident, can you come and help me.” Of course we saddle up .. ok, so it was get in the car… lol.  And we went and helped until her husband came.  As she just got ahold of him as we drove up..  She got a tow truck heading her way.. help the husband put the groceries in the truck with him.. and she had the rest handled.. So we left as we figured they had everything taken care of.. as they waited for the tow truck to show. 

As we drove away… I told the King.. you know..  we can’t die.. He said, WHAT?  I said.. we can’t  die, because we are too busying helping others.. Who are they going to call, if we die.   Ha ha   This sure isn’t a complaint.. as we have always been there for our friends..  as they for us.
