Happy eating and thankfulness

Tomorrow is a day of thankfulness.. For good food, good friends.. lots of family… and hopefully good health.

Tomorrow is the day of starting the feasting season.  Lots of food..  Thanksgiving…  company parties thru out the month of December .. and Christmas itself..  then onward to the next year..  more food for New Years Eve..  January it lets up and most head to the work outs … be it spa, gym or home.. then Valentine comes..  and of course Irish day of pot stews and brews.. and Easter ..  the list goes on..

Then we head into the feast of the summer..  BBQ’s and 4th of July cook outs..  and more cook outs until Labor Day..

Yes we American’s know how to eat.

So here is hoping you all have a great day..  Remember what you are grateful for.. not what is negative..  We have so much to be grateful for..   If you have a job..  if you have a home.. if you have food in your cupboards, and freezers.. if you are in pretty good health.. if you have friends.. and family to enjoy.. be THANKFUL FOR ALL OF THIS.. as there are a lot of people who don’t have all of that or even a portion.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL…

PS...   As I was posting this..  I came across last year's...  with these words at the end..

And most of all I think of Jo Brownell, who made thanksgiving so great in my teens... And my Aunt Harriet who made the best fried bread for breakfast on Thanksgiving mornings.

I miss these two ladies so very much..  our lost of our great person of a Aunt.. was almost 20 years ago.. and the lost of Jo was this year..    So be thankful for those in your life.   God Bless...
