It is WASTED DAYS AND WASTED NIGHT SEASON

 

This is the part of the year.. where we run in one spot.. day after day after day..  This year to add to that.. we have no snow.  Oh, we have a patch here and there, where we piled it up in the beginning of January.. when we got about 9 inches one day and 5 more the next and then another 5.. after that NOTHING..  But lots of rain.. and wind and GOOD BYE, SNOW.

So now it is like end of March.. no snow, mud everywhere. Load limits on the road..  The walk around the yard is frustration.. You see the dead leaves of Fall. The branches that need to be taken down..  the vines that need to be trim around on the bushes..  But with lots of rain and wind.. you just can’t get into the mood.   If you get any sunshine it is about 2 or 3 in the afternoon, when you are winding down for the day. 

Will we get more snow?  Who knows. Surely the weather man doesn’t, as he is just as frustrated as we are, the change signs.. only to have mother earth switch it around in the air.. and warmer comes..  The Mountains did get some snow.. they got 13 inches last week and they were THRILLED.. as it has been disappearing there too.. and then of course there are avalanches to worry about.

They got more snow today… about 3 inches.. we got rain.

Cabin Fever is going to be coming early this year..
