Ruth Bader Ginsburg….

Better known a RBG.. even the movie uses that…

 

Ruth Ginsburg was born in Brooklyn New York. Her mother died shortly before she graduated from high school. She studied law school at Harvard, where she was one of the few women in her class. Her mother would have been proud.

 

You can google her name and read all the different things this lady has done before she became a member of the Supreme Court.   So many women laws of protection is due to her… 

 

But people only think of her as the one of the 9 judges.. some don’t like her.. I even have a daughter who is not a fan of hers.  Her main thing is the fact she saw a picture of her sleeping at some meeting..  I tried to get her to understand this woman…..THIS WOMAN… is the reason why she and other and myself included… get to enjoy may things that were not up for us years ago.   It is on the back of people like Ginsburg, Gloria Steinem, and several others who fought to gain for women rights thru the 1960 and 70’s. 

 

I like her because she was tough… she stood up for what she thought was right. No matter what side of the party aisle people were on. 

 

So God bless you Ruth, may you rest in peace with her husband.  She served well…

 

I find it despicable that they are arguing over who will replace her before she is even buried.   What is the hurry? Trump has lots of time to put some one up there he wants. He couldn’t wait another week, out of respect… Oh, yea, we don’t do that anymore.. do we… Respect ….
