MONDAY MONDAY…
Monday Monday.. rainy Monday…
at least yesterday and Saturday were sunny and warm..
We went to our daughter’s on
Saturday… they did the eggs dying.. and Ken joined.. I came later.. and we hid
the plastic eggs for the kids.. and then we had a bar-b-que.
The kids did fantastic on the
eggs.. I was there for the end of the egg dying.. and some of the color the
kids were doing by putting them in all kinds of colors, some looking like dirt
brown and blackish.. turn out to be amazing dark blue with a marble look to
them.. for 7 year olds they did awesome
and even out doing the adults..
Then on Easter itself.. the King and I had a laid back day.. well, kind of.. as the warmth of the day, brought out the yard doings… we decided to clean out the green house that became a catch all last Fall when we were putting things away.. some of it was orderly (not much) and a lot of it was a mess.. So we threw away some things.. got out the seeds and came up to the deck and sorted them out.. Some were over 18 years old.. I took about 4 packages of beets that were old.. and put them in a tray.. those that spout get to go in the ground.. those that don’t make it.. well, they will be gone.. The King soaked some fava bean seeds and then he put them in pots.. and left them outside in the rain.. the best watering ever..
Today we are going to see what it cost to replace our own installation of our shower almost 20 years ago.. It will be a decision of .. can we afford a replacement.. or do we do a repair of the old one.. Will let you know tomorrow.. how high it will be.. Guess quite high, as they gave us a $500 coupon at the Home and Garden show.. so if they are going to forgive $500.. then the price might a little stiff for us.. They promised they would give us an estimate with no obligation… and hold that price until December.. As we have two other projects we have to address first.
Well, will see..
Try a little
kindness
I would walk down the hall, when the higher
ups would pass me.. and say... with a big smile..GOOD MORNING. at first they
would have a surprise look but about 3 times later, they too started to smile
and say it to me.. ever drop makes a difference
