No Win Situation...

Obama was put in a no win situation over this
McChrystal deal…..

If he fires him, he has thin skin… if he keeps him
then he is weak….

I am sure the media and the naysayers will have a field day
over this… just like over the 20 billion that Obama asked
for, not demanded… to cover for damages over the oil spill.

First they scream because he wasn’t emotional enough and
not doing enough… then they scream he was over stepping
his power…

All of which is a no win situation… But his choice he
did make… was a good one… and he handled it correctly.
And he did it with class, without putting down McChrystal.
And giving McChrystal his due for all the work he did accomplish.

Funny thing when someone expresses the truth of what is going on that person is always wrong not matter who is the leader of the country or what country. Look back over history and we will see all the military leaders that spoke there peace and their careers where on the line many lost their jobs. Then years latter when all the facts came out they were the heroes they were the ones that knew the truth and their flustrations lead to their comments which were not politically correct at the time but years later when all could read what really was going on when the books were open so to speak they are now called Hero. Boots on the ground know more then anyone else and if you look at it this way we all say things due to stress disapiontment or just the fact certain persons of power are not really listening to what you are saying. If the reporter didn't print it it would be a normal thing that is held between those involved but then look at the name of the paper Rolling Stone they go looking for dirt and print it.

I bet each one of use who is human has made comments based on flustration and unless our boss heard it or our coworkers said we were saying it it is just part of letting out the flustration. So much is going on over there that only God and the Boots on the ground know. One day all the eyes will be open to the truth.

You are right,Anonymous, about words during frustration....but the mistake he made... was he spoke with the wrong people around him.
I believe the wording of the boots on the ground are... you can think anything you want, you just don't verbalize it around the wrong people. And that is where he made his mistake.

The problem is to much media in the war zone they know things and see things that we do not and comment in flustration. Look at Swartzcoff he did the same and Busch accepted his apoligy and sent him back. But if he had been listen too and Sadam was taken out then we might not be in the wars we are now. Everyone says things how many time does one say oh, sh--- I really don't want to talk to that person or that persons ideas are idiotic in any work place among fellow workers. They know what is going on more then those that sit at big desks and push computer buttons all day

oh, the meaning of boots on the ground is that the boots on the ground know more of what is going on then those that are not there at the time. In other words if you are in your kitchen and their is a stove fire and the fire department is called you say it is a huge fire and they think oh, it is a stove fire only little one in the stove. You are the boots on the ground you know it was not in the oven up electrical and the curtian are on fire and the flooring in the kitchen and all the stuff on the counter and your little fire extinguisher didn't work you opening the door made it spread worse and the whole darn kitchen is in full fame up on the side of the stove but you didn't tell them all that since you only gave the basics what they asked for and that was you have a stove fire. Boots on the ground are the troops that see and know and experience and many times when they hear the pencils pushers or computer jockies whatever you want to call them say it is this way when they told them several times it is not and when they are told they don't know what they are talking about when they are on the front lines then you may understand where McCrystol is coming from and his troops. TO bad the media was there but it is in the war front some troops want to send the media into the houses or other areas before them so they don't have to worry about how they proform there job and how it will be written in the paper or mag they are working for or how it will be appear on the news. When you lift an old Iraqi women with welts from the bombs she had under her mattress or a child when taken from the crib has Ieds under their blankers oh, you are the boots on the ground but no one wants to accept you are seeing this you are nuts it was a poor old lady you lifted out of bed you are cruel really how about the family that placed the bombs under her. The boots on the ground know what is going on they live it see it and their lives are on the line flustration is the big wigs not listening not believing that is what we get with none military people in office the don't understand they never served. Heck we were fighting with pitch forks in Nam and the idiots made us back off so they could rearm and we lost that big time why oh,to many people had their ownership of stock in ammo companies and they would lose to much if won they wouldn't be making big buck. IT took many years for the truth on that to come out but then the boots on the ground knew it we saw it we lived it and we suffered for it. Boots on the ground you must remember live, feel , see and stress over their lives each day they see and hear the bombs, the ieds they call the families of kids killed in action they know a lot more then any senator, congressman or even our pres. for they are their they live it sleep it when they can sleep. have you ever tried sleeping while bombs are busting around you? That is what boots on the ground means.
