AND THE BEAT GOES ON...

Well on Tuesday.... were were suppose to get a glimmer of  sunshine, like on Monday.. THEY LIED.. they said the snow would  stop by 10am... THEY LIED...  

So made a picture album.... called  HOW HIGH THE SNOW, MAMA.....  

This is measuring around the yard..  Some areas seem to have more than others 

 now you are probably wondering .. why would they do a path around the house..   in front as well as this side yard... Well, you see years ago.. after having a really bad year... we had to pull the snow off the roof... BUT we couldn't get to it as the whole yard was over 3 feet tall.....  We had two 4x8 plywood sheets, that we would throw after each one as we went around the house.. not a fun job.. and some times the plywood would sink some while you are pulling snow...    We might be slow learners as we did the same the next year... well, stupid we aren't..  and that is why we  snowblow a path around the house...  and yes, that area by the house fills up to the windows. 

 this here is where I laid the yard stick up against the snow berm from the snowblower...    

And the beat goes on.... says we are getting 38 to 40 by Friday... as we are having deep freeze with this right now.. getting close to 0 at night...  but along with the warming up???? ANOTHER STORM coming in by Saturday...  oh lucky us.. well ... at least we will have good ground water come August.
