Sunday drive on Monday....

Good thing we are retired....  

The King decided he wanted to go over to Spokane to get a part for the truck. 
I had mention maybe he should call, just to see if they had the part.. but he said no, he could explain it better in person with pictures.. which I printed out for him. 
So at the crack of dawn... well, at 7am..  we headed out so we could be there by 8 when it open. 

It turn out to be quite a journey... See we had not been on the road that we traveled.. for quite some time.  maybe 10 years for me..  a little less for the King.
As we marveled at the changes since we had traveled that way.. All the new buildings and business.. and look at that.. there use to be farm there..  and oh my gosh look at all the storage sheds on those acres.... and etc.  Well, we kind of got lost.   Part of it was construction fault.. as there were detours.  
But we kept our heads together and figured out the NORTH ... SOUTH.. EAST .. WEST part and came across DIVISION...STREET!!! YEAH... Something we recognized!! ... 
So we traveled up Division to an area we thought we might get where we were going... MARKET STREET...  I told him. I thought that Market went the same way as Division. So we turn right on the next big intersection and 12 blocks later..  MARKET STREET... Yahoo...  Turn which way?  well, we went to the right...  WRONG.. blocks are getting less... so turn around.. up Market street.. went about 30 blocks and there was the store we came to....to get the parts...... which they don't handle.... ha ha ha...  

As he got back the car.. grumbling...  I told him it was just a nice Sunday drive on Monday and we got to see a lot of changes... which he replied, kind of quietly.... yea, I suppose....  
Not one to rub things in.. but I did ask him, if he learn anything from all of this.. He said, yea. order on line.. ha ha..... I said well, maybe.. but maybe a phone call to the store would have told you they don't care those parts, would have been helpful..  

AND BOY HAS TRENT STREET in Spokane changed. lol..
