He returns and there are pictures…

Those who read this, knew that the King went off for an

adventure of his own… With two great wonderful, fun loving

long time friends.  They went to Alaska to do some fishing.

And fishing they did… The place takes care of the fish for you.. they clean them and filet them, and freeze them for shipping. So Yesterday they arrived in Spokane and his friends picked up the package.

It was a wonderful trip,  several ferries worth, a short trip on the plane and a long trip in the car across part of Canada.

They started out in Bellingham, Washington, and went for a 2 day ferry ride to Ketchikan, Alaska.. He loved it. .He got to see some whales…   Then they left the car in Ketchikan in a lot, and took another ferry to Hollis, Alaska.  Then the people who rented their apartment to them, came and got them. For 4 days of fishing in the river and the ocean.. limiting out each day.. Lin Cod, Sea Bass, and Salmon… The Halibut they said were weaning out, due to the China and Japanese fishing boats and gill nets.. So no Halibut.. But we will have enough fish to last a bit, even with giving family fish.. lol..

They flew out of Hollis (the people gave them a ride to the airport) to Ketchikan so they could pick up their car. Another ferry ride the next day to Prince Rupert, Canada.  And the start of the long ride home.. Thru the glazier area and etc.

One of the things that the King noticed right way about Canada was how clean it was.. all the streets and etc. They have garbage cans every so many miles for one thing. AND maybe a USA, law should go in like theirs.. See there is an over a thousand dollar fine for littering.   That sure is a deterrent for keeping your streets and area clean. 

Another thing he learn was about getting gas. First theirs is liters… second.. they have you punch in the number of dollars you want of gas.  If you want $40 worth, you punch the $40 button…  but you have to be careful.. because if you were to punch in the .. say $50 button and it only took $44.00 worth… you don’t get a refund….. you just donated $6 to the gas station .. lol.. Also may of the restaurants have a $10 automatic tip added to your bill…be it for an egg and coffee, or a full size lunch.. doesn’t matter.  All learning lessons of traveling.  Lol.. 

But he had a great time..  so now.. for the pictures..
