So proud of the King..

The King has been doing less and less mechanic work. Just doesn’t have his heart in it much anymore..  So we take it in to get the oil change and small stuff.. because most of it is small stuff.

But about 3 weeks ago, he noticed a rot hole in the bottom of the cab on the driver’s side.  About 3 inches..  He decided to fix it himself.  So he cut it out and then made a piece of metal that size, then pound it round in the shape he had to have. and welded in to place. He has it all ground down and sanded so it is really smooth.  Got it wet sanded and prime painted it.. He is waiting for the special color to be made for it to match the rest. Then he will spray it.

Found a couple of nicks …so took  of care those too..

Did a really great job of it.  It has taken about 4 days but he wanted it done right.
