And this is how some of the old San Diego
homes become a NEW San Diego home.
It seems if you keep part of the old house,
you can do a "remodeling job" for less
money or permits. So they take off the
back side, (some times the front side,or
side itself) and build a whole new house
itself attached to the old house. Then
a few years later, they will "remodel
again, and then take the old house part
away, and add a new to go with the other.
