WE CAME... WE SAW...

Over a week ago, they unveiled the statute that they have been working on for almost a year. It started out as a large red wood tree from Canada.  They started to carve on it.. then winter set in. So they boxed and wrapped it, so they could work on it thru the winter.. They had built stairs to each level as the statute ends up being, I think 34 feet high...  So this starts after the unveiling. They passed out books for free, explaining the statute and how Daniel in the bible had changed the man. The man is

King Nebuchadnezzar.  And this is a statute of King Nebuchadnezzar. 

 they were putting a rope/cord around the chest under the arms..

 then brought down the chain that is also connect to the rear down by the butt of the statute.

 then they had to dig around the bottom, as there was over 7 feet of base down in the ground so it did not fall over while they carved on it...

 this is the trailer that it will be loaded on to.. for traveling to Las Vegas.  It was specially built for this statute..

 they put a base for the men to be able to cut off so much of it.. to release it.. the framing is so it is exactly level.  as the base has to be exactly level

 wa   la... free.. and swinging...

now to get it set into the circle band that will hold the base in the metal base that will always be with it, when it is placed where ever they take it..

after laying it down.. this is on the end of the base... so those traveling down the road and see it.. they can go to this site and find  what it is and why....   D2IMAGE.com

 Already and set in the holders and bands... ready to head down the road.

here it is.. starting down highway 95 .... going the full length of Idaho, and going to Las Vegas, NV. for about 3 or 4 days.. then heading Midwest... and beyond..  Those who want to have it in their town, can contact them.. and they will bring it... It is the mission of these people...  They all worked very hard to get it to this point...  Ken helped from the past Saturday to this Monday... with what ever they need.. he brought his drill to help, they needed a chain... and etc.  He started out just watching.. but when he saw a needed, he jumped in and helped and made new friends..   Wishing them well, as they left Monday morning...

By the way, we found that some people did not like the statute..some stating he was a wicked King.. and I guess he was until he had a vision...  A vision he couldn't quite remember and did not understand..  He asked around for someone to know what it meant.. but he didn't tell his wise men what the vision was, as he couldn't remember.. He even threaten to kill those who could not come up with it..   As he was getting ready to have that done.. One of his smarter higher Jewish slaves told the King he thought he could help... His name is Daniel..... In Daniel 2 (that is why it is referred to) it tells how Daniel help the King.. and the King found out it to be true and changed his ways... There are 12 chapters to Daniel, and explains his works with future Kings.. some good, some not so good. And that is the general idea of it.. but you can check with your Bible.. in the Old Testament.

Oh, the 7 foot that was left in the ground.. was taking out.. and went to a carver for another project.
