Media Negativity

There is so much negativity of late…
seem like more than usual.

It isn’t that I am promoting the feel good news,
but when you hear negative remarks over and over.
After a while, it beats you down to that level yourself.
Look at a work place. If you hear it, next thing you
are talking negative.

So if we hear it …. Read it… watch it…
Doesn’t the audience, readers, get into a funk too?

And then when you read and see on television,
that some young students wrote answers to a
question given them….”what would you want to
be remembered for?” And their answer was…
To be remembered for being a mass murder..
To be remembered for killing a president…
To be remembered for being the leader of the KKK
And other such things….

And of course, the media did not play up the positive
answers there, as I can’t believe all the students would
have answered such sad answers. It isn’t just the shock
value of the answers as the students may have been
trying for… it is the fact that they had those thoughts in
their minds at all to come up with for the questions.
Sure brought down my day hearing about it…
