Twisting the truth

You put an 8-ounce glass on the table.
You put 4 ounces of water in that glass.
Exactly 4 ounces…no more, no less…

Just that glass of water will bring you more
arguments, when you ask for anyone and
everyone, to describe that glass of water.

FACT…..
It is a 8 ounce glass
FACT….
It has 4 ounces of water poured into it.
THIS IS ALL FACT… measured FACT.

Yet, people will argue until the cows come home,
that the glass is either half full or half empty.
Even to the point of heated arguments.
Why? When in fact both can be said, as it is a
FACT that it is half empty AND half full.

The same can be said about many things about our
Government. People will argue heatedly that things
are so bad, everything is bad. And because the other one
did not see their way. That, that person did not have
the same views and because of that, they are wrong.
and really this can be said of either side.

And if one is to say that some of what the other is saying,
is somewhat true, but there is some good in the problem,
the negative person will be quite adamant about how
wrong they are…

Thru this kind of thinking, we get radicals who do harm.
And this date today….this date… has shown to do just
that.
