Then comes the water.... and the start of the rock placement. All of the black paper will have rocks and some plants.
Don't think Misty is going to like sharing the pool with the Hipp0...

I did this for a rock fountain in our yard, but I dug the hole way too deep (almost two feet) and had a heckuva time finding enough little rocks to fill the hole back up (it's one of those dry fountains, not a pond). It looks nice now, but sooo much work!
I can't wait to get our side yard pond going. We have a bigger pond with Koi and lots of gold fish, when the herring, or whatever that bird is, isn't taking a free meal. No matter what size they can be a lotta work but such a joy to sit and relax by.
