Good bye Mr. Heston
It was 1956... Summer theater in Newport, R.I.
The play was Mr. Roberts ... and they needed a goat. 3 of us showed and Mr. Heston had to chose which goat. Thus with Heidi's help...my 15 seconds of fame.
Mr. Heston was very nice to us all... and my family got free tickets to the show.

He was a favorite of mine also. I enjoyed your little segment on your 15 minutes of fame, but I'm sure you have had many. I once baby sat for Bob Cummings, though not many people remember him. A very nice man.
Well...I met Dennis Franz of NYPD BLUE a couple of years ago. I've also met Ted Nugent (rock and roll guitarist) and Don Brewer (drummer for Grand Funk Railroad)...both of those musicians are idols of mine. In all the time I was in CDA, I never even SAW Patty Duke. And, the drummer/singer of another favorite band of mine, Rare Earth had kids on the sports teams in the CDA area, and one night he sang 'The Star Spangled Banner' before a game. I was working at a radio station carrying the broadcast, and his voice sounded as good as ever. Oh my gosh; I've almost written a blog on your blog!

Wow, you are a celebrity!! I have never met anyone that qualifies, but like my dad used to say, "they put there pants on one leg at a time."
