The Storm of the Century....

So... March...
this is your hello for us... blowing
wind.. snow flurries... dipped temps...  brings a
new meaning to... coming in like a lion and leaving
like a lamb...

If the weather person is right... starting Tuesday
will be a glimpse of what Spring will be like..Which
means sloppy yards and roads..  The snow will
melt and flood some areas... and if the winter
continues as it has..  it will be followed up by
freezing weather... making it a ice rink again.

Storm of the century... is what some weather
person said.  Which made me chuckle.. after
all, we are only 14 years into this century. And
I am sure there will be a lot worse storms than
this year.  And it isn't the worse one nation wide
for the past 100 years.. as I remember several
worse ones than this.. Back when I was a kid.

Worse one for the East Coast and the West Coast.
We had on about 2003 or 2004.. where we had 5
feet of snow.. and it seemed like it snowed every
day.  Some of those days were blizzard like. Even
so bad.. Spokane had 24 hour reporting of the snow
and the results of it. For two days!!

Also somewhere around 2000, there was one in
the East Coast that shut down airports for weeks.
And there were a lot of years before, that were
worse than that.  So not the worse one of a 100
years. And not the worse one of this century.

Oh, well, the weather forecasters have to have
something to say.
