ARE THEY SERIOUS?

The Congress is working on an immigration bill. How they can get one going is beyond me, as they all have different ideas of what they want and what they think should be.

One of which is, that everyone here now... would be come a citizen.

I soooooooooooo disagree... If they want to give green cards to those who have come in illegally, or have over stayed their time.. that is one thing.. But to make them automatic citizen? No, way.. 

Everyone who has come to this country LEGALLY... who decided to become citizens, had to study and study hard to be able to take the test and if they passed they got to become citizens. And they had to prove they could support themselves.  So why do these people get a pass? 

Kind of reminds me of someone who squats on some property and because they were able to outlast any legal action... get to keep the house after all.

Most think of these people as Mexican.. but there are several other here illegally from many different countries.. Some of these came on an education grant only to drop out of school and sight.

I am sorry.. but if they want to let these people stay, they need to have 1. a job... a job for some time... 2. they only get a green card... and then if they prove they really want to stay here, can support themselves and their families.. then they can put in for citizenship.. the same way any one

else who has come here, for years. 

And with 4th of the July coming upon us within the week.. 

those who worked hard....harder than those of us born here... who worked so hard to become citizens, it is a slap in their faces... to just let these people become citizens..
