I love a parade... I love the bands, the floats,
and the balloons at the Macy Parade.
Any parade, I love it.. the marching bands,
the floats of the Rose Bowl parade..
I just wish I could see them... not parts
of them.. not in the background of some
act. Some dancing fools, or some has been
singer. If I wanted to see a concert, I would
go to see one.. I DON'T WANT TO SEE
THEM.. during parade time.
I WANT TO SEE THE PARADE.. I WANT
TO SEE THE FLOATS.. I WANT TO SEE
THE MARCHING BANDS..
Keep your nightclub acts in the nightclub.
Anyone else gets upset over this besides me?

I agree and it's why I haven't watched a televised parade in years. The last time I actually saw one was in Bozeman when we happened to be there on Homecoming Saturday for Montana State. We stood on the sidewalk and watched like all the other little kids. Now that was a parade!
I was so disappointed with the parade this year, I won't watch another one. They aren't what I consider a parade!!! Sad but true. The Rose Bowl is better. Keep the singers out! And all the other junk.
